Portable supercritical extraction unit - SuperEx
Supercritical extraction is a process that uses CO2 and other gases at high pressure to extract valuable compounds from natural materials such as plants and the raw materials produced by New Zealand 's primary sector. Industrial Research has extensive experience in the extraction, purification and modification of lipids into high value products for the nutraceutical, functional food and cosmeceutical industries. Pilot scale fermentation & production of metabolites
IRL has extensive fermentation and microbiology capabilities in microbial systems covering the areas of pharmaceutical, cosmaceutical, nutraceutical, energy and food. We are able to produce pilot scale batches of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, yeast and fungi along a significant photosynthetic algae capacity.
