Performance development and review

IRL understands that our business growth is dependant on the growth of our people. To enable this, we are committed to providing easy and accessible tools and processes to support staff development and review.

IRL understands staff respond well to having tangible objectives to aim for, and so we have developed a pathway for them to achieve and deliver on organisational and professional goals. It is easy to follow and provides opportunities for staff to receive regular feedback on their performance.

Within a performance development plan there is a facility for staff to identify skills and competency development needs in consultation with their manager.

For science and engineering staff, IRL provides a clear pathway for career progression based on achievement and demonstration of relevant skills and competencies.
